Materials Data on Sn2Ru by Materials Project
Abstract
RuSn2 is Khatyrkite-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ru is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Sn atoms. All Ru–Sn bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Sn is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ru and one Sn atom. The Sn–Sn bond length is 2.97 Å.
