AmeriFlux AmeriFlux US-Akn Aiken
Abstract
This is the AmeriFlux version of the carbon flux data for the site US-Akn Aiken. Site Description - The site is characterized by a mix of pine and deciduous hardwood forests with a general canopy height of 25m which was established in the 1950s. Management of the forest around the site is performed by the USFS-Savannah River and consists of prescribed burning of the understory on a 3-4 year cycle.
