Title: Materials Data on UMn2 by Materials Project

Abstract

UMn2 is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent U and twelve equivalent Mn atoms. All U–U bond lengths are 3.06 Å. All U–Mn bond lengths are 2.93 Å. Mn is bonded to six equivalent U and six equivalent Mn atoms to form a mixture of edge, face, and corner-sharing MnU6Mn6 cuboctahedra. All Mn–Mn bond lengths are 2.50 Å.
