Title: Materials Data on RbO2 by Materials Project

Abstract

RbO2 is Anatase structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/amd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Rb is bonded to six equivalent O atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing RbO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 11°. There are four shorter (2.79 Å) and two longer (3.04 Å) Rb–O bond lengths. O is bonded in a T-shaped geometry to three equivalent Rb atoms.
