Title: Materials Data on ThPd by Materials Project

Abstract

ThPd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Th is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Pd atoms. There are a spread of Th–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.05–3.18 Å. Pd is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Th and two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.97 Å.
