Materials Data on NdZn2 by Materials Project
Abstract
NdZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Nd–Zn bond distances ranging from 3.13–3.38 Å. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd and four equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Zn–Zn bond distances ranging from 2.63–2.91 Å.
