Title: Materials Data on SrGaCu2 by Materials Project

Abstract

SrCu2Ga crystallizes in the trigonal R-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Cu atoms. There are two shorter (3.03 Å) and six longer (3.38 Å) Sr–Cu bond lengths. Cu is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Sr, three equivalent Cu, and three equivalent Ga atoms. All Cu–Cu bond lengths are 2.58 Å. All Cu–Ga bond lengths are 2.50 Å. Ga is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Cu atoms.
