Title: Materials Data on ThAl3Ni2 by Materials Project

Abstract

ThNi2Al3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Th is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Ni and twelve equivalent Al atoms. All Th–Ni bond lengths are 3.07 Å. All Th–Al bond lengths are 3.35 Å. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Th and six equivalent Al atoms. All Ni–Al bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Al is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Th and four equivalent Ni atoms.
