Title: Materials Data on Os(SCl6)2 by Materials Project

Abstract

OsCl6(SCl3)2 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of three hexachloroosmium molecules and six SCl3 clusters. In each SCl3 cluster, S2+ is bonded in a distorted trigonal non-coplanar geometry to three equivalent Cl1- atoms. All S–Cl bond lengths are 2.05 Å. Cl1- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one S2+ atom.
