Title: Materials Data on YHSe by Materials Project

Abstract

YHSe crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Y3+ is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent H1- and six equivalent Se2- atoms. All Y–H bond lengths are 2.22 Å. All Y–Se bond lengths are 2.97 Å. H1- is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Y3+ atoms. Se2- is bonded to six equivalent Y3+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing SeY6 pentagonal pyramids.
