Title: Materials Data on NpAl3 by Materials Project

Abstract

NpAl3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Np is bonded to twelve equivalent Al atoms to form NpAl12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NpAl12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent AlNp4Al8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent NpAl12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent AlNp4Al8 cuboctahedra. All Np–Al bond lengths are 3.01 Å. Al is bonded to four equivalent Np and eight equivalent Al atoms to form AlNp4Al8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent AlNp4Al8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent NpAl12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent AlNp4Al8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent NpAl12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent AlNp4Al8 cuboctahedra. All Al–Al bond lengths are 3.01 Å.
