Materials Data on TbO2 by Materials Project
Abstract
TbO2 is Fluorite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb4+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent O2- atoms. All Tb–O bond lengths are 2.37 Å. O2- is bonded to four equivalent Tb4+ atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing OTb4 tetrahedra.
