Title: Materials Data on TlH4NCl4 by Materials Project

Abstract

TlCl4NH4 is Silicon tetrafluoride-derived structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/a space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four ammonium molecules and four TlCl4 clusters. In each TlCl4 cluster, Tl3+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Cl1- atoms. All Tl–Cl bond lengths are 2.48 Å. Cl1- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Tl3+ atom.
