Title: Materials Data on YbP by Materials Project

Abstract

YbP is Halite, Rock Salt structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb3+ is bonded to six equivalent P3- atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing YbP6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Yb–P bond lengths are 2.90 Å. P3- is bonded to six equivalent Yb3+ atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing PYb6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
