Title: Materials Data on NpIn3 by Materials Project

Abstract

NpIn3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Np is bonded to twelve equivalent In atoms to form NpIn12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NpIn12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent InNp4In8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent NpIn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent InNp4In8 cuboctahedra. All Np–In bond lengths are 3.29 Å. In is bonded to four equivalent Np and eight equivalent In atoms to form distorted InNp4In8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent InNp4In8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent NpIn12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent InNp4In8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent NpIn12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent InNp4In8 cuboctahedra. All In–In bond lengths are 3.29 Å.
