Title: Materials Data on U2Fe2Sn by Materials Project

Abstract

U2Fe2Sn crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. U is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Fe and four equivalent Sn atoms. There are two shorter (2.65 Å) and four longer (2.76 Å) U–Fe bond lengths. All U–Sn bond lengths are 3.19 Å. Fe is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent U, one Fe, and two equivalent Sn atoms. The Fe–Fe bond length is 2.78 Å. Both Fe–Sn bond lengths are 2.83 Å. Sn is bonded to eight equivalent U and four equivalent Fe atoms to form a mixture of distorted face and corner-sharing SnU8Fe4 cuboctahedra.
