Title: Materials Data on PuS by Materials Project

Abstract

PuS is Halite, Rock Salt structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pu is bonded to six equivalent S atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing PuS6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Pu–S bond lengths are 2.81 Å. S is bonded to six equivalent Pu atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing SPu6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
