Materials Data on TiGePd by Materials Project
Abstract
TiPdGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ti is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pd and five equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ti–Pd bond distances ranging from 2.96–3.12 Å. There are a spread of Ti–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.67–2.82 Å. Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ti, two equivalent Pd, and four equivalent Ge atoms. Both Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.84 Å. There are a spread of Pd–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.48–2.62 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ti and four equivalent Pd atoms.
