Materials Data on CO2 by Materials Project
Abstract
CO2 is Cyanogen Chloride-derived structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pa-3 space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four carbon dioxide molecules. C4+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent O2- atoms. Both C–O bond lengths are 1.18 Å. O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one C4+ atom.
