Title: Materials Data on Sr by Materials Project

Abstract

Sr is Hg_xSn structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sr is bonded to eight equivalent Sr atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing SrSr8 hexagonal bipyramids. There are two shorter (3.81 Å) and six longer (4.08 Å) Sr–Sr bond lengths.
