Title: Materials Data on TbPt2 by Materials Project

Abstract

Pt2Tb is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb4+ is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Tb–Pt bond lengths are 3.20 Å. Pt2- is bonded to six equivalent Tb4+ and six equivalent Pt2- atoms to form a mixture of edge, face, and corner-sharing PtTb6Pt6 cuboctahedra. All Pt–Pt bond lengths are 2.73 Å.
