Title: Materials Data on Se by Materials Project

Abstract

Se is alpha Selenium structured and crystallizes in the trigonal P3_121 space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of one Se ribbon oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Se is bonded in a water-like geometry to two equivalent Se atoms. Both Se–Se bond lengths are 2.40 Å.
