Title: Materials Data on YbZnAu by Materials Project

Abstract

YbAuZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Au and six equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Yb–Au bond distances ranging from 3.03–3.09 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Zn bond distances ranging from 3.21–3.39 Å. Au is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Yb and four equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Au–Zn bond distances ranging from 2.69–2.80 Å. Zn is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Yb and four equivalent Au atoms.
