Materials Data on LuPb2 by Materials Project
Abstract
LuPb2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two LuPb2 sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Lu is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pb atoms. All Lu–Pb bond lengths are 3.30 Å. Pb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Lu atoms.
