Title: Materials Data on YbCdAu by Materials Project

Abstract

YbAuCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Au atoms. There are a spread of Yb–Au bond distances ranging from 3.08–3.16 Å. Au is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Yb and four equivalent Cd atoms. There are a spread of Au–Cd bond distances ranging from 2.85–2.98 Å. Cd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Au atoms.
