Title: Materials Data on NaAu2 by Materials Project

Abstract

NaAu2 is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Au atoms. All Na–Au bond lengths are 3.30 Å. Au is bonded to six equivalent Na and six equivalent Au atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing AuNa6Au6 cuboctahedra. All Au–Au bond lengths are 2.82 Å.
