Materials Data on AcAl3 by Materials Project
Abstract
AcAl3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ac is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Al atoms. There are six shorter (3.36 Å) and six longer (3.50 Å) Ac–Al bond lengths. Al is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ac and six equivalent Al atoms. There are two shorter (2.75 Å) and four longer (2.82 Å) Al–Al bond lengths.
