Abstract

GeP is Zincblende, Sphalerite structured and crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ge3+ is bonded to four equivalent P3- atoms to form corner-sharing GeP4 tetrahedra. All Ge–P bond lengths are 2.48 Å. P3- is bonded to four equivalent Ge3+ atoms to form corner-sharing PGe4 tetrahedra.
