Title: Materials Data on Co17Se20 by Materials Project

Abstract

Co17Se20 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are eighteen inequivalent Co+2.35+ sites. In the first Co+2.35+ site, Co+2.35+ is bonded to six Se2- atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing CoSe6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 47–53°. There are a spread of Co–Se bond distances ranging from 2.37–2.50 Å. In the second Co+2.35+ site, Co+2.35+ is bonded to six Se2- atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing CoSe6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 51–55°. There are a spread of Co–Se bond distances ranging from 2.41–2.50 Å. In the third Co+2.35+ site, Co+2.35+ is bonded to six Se2- atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing CoSe6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 49–54°. There are a spread of Co–Se bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.60 Å. In the fourth Co+2.35+ site, Co+2.35+ is bonded to six Se2- atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing CoSe6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 49–53°. There are a spread of Co–Se bond distances ranging from 2.40–2.46 Å. There are a spread of Co–Se bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.60 Å.
