Title: Materials Data on C by Materials Project

Abstract

C is diamond-like structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent C sites. In the first C site, C is bonded to four C atoms to form corner-sharing CC4 tetrahedra. All C–C bond lengths are 1.54 Å. In the second C site, C is bonded to four C atoms to form corner-sharing CC4 tetrahedra. The C–C bond length is 1.57 Å.
