Title: Materials Data on Sr2Co2O5 by Materials Project

Abstract

Sr2O5(Co)2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of four cobalt molecules and one Sr2O5 framework. In the Sr2O5 framework, Sr2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted corner-sharing SrO5 square pyramids. There are one shorter (2.15 Å) and four longer (2.30 Å) Sr–O bond lengths. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr2+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sr2+ atoms.
