Title: Materials Data on Lu2Ga3Co by Materials Project

Abstract

Lu2CoGa3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Lu sites. In the first Lu site, Lu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Ga atoms. There are six shorter (2.94 Å) and six longer (3.29 Å) Lu–Ga bond lengths. In the second Lu site, Lu is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and eight equivalent Ga atoms. There are two shorter (2.82 Å) and two longer (3.28 Å) Lu–Co bond lengths. There are four shorter (3.02 Å) and four longer (3.05 Å) Lu–Ga bond lengths. Co is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Lu and three equivalent Ga atoms. All Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.41 Å. Ga is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six Lu, one Co, and three equivalent Ga atoms. There are two shorter (2.67 Å) and one longer (2.77 Å) Ga–Ga bond lengths.
