Title: Materials Data on Pb by Materials Project

Abstract

Pb is Magnesium structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pb is bonded to twelve equivalent Pb atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing PbPb12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.55 Å) and six longer (3.57 Å) Pb–Pb bond lengths.
