Materials Data on Be2B by Materials Project
Abstract
Be2B is Fluorite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Be is bonded to four equivalent B atoms to form a mixture of corner and edge-sharing BeB4 tetrahedra. All Be–B bond lengths are 1.98 Å. B is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Be atoms.
