Title: An x-ray streak camera with high spatio-temporal resolution

Journal Article · · Applied Physics Letters
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1063/1.2793191· OSTI ID:932972

An x-ray streak camera with high resolution in both temporaland spatial dimensions has been developed. It is achieved by usingextraction-mesh acceleration and a large opening aperture magneticsolenoid lens design. High resolutions in the temporal and spatialdimensions can be retained in a wide 53 ps time window. A temporalresolution of 233 fs and a spatial resolution of 10 mu m have beendemonstrated using an Au photocathode.
