Title: Industrial Applications of Microchannel Process Technology in the United States

Abstract

An overview is provided of the industrial applications of microchannel process technology in the United States. Major application areas include thermal processing, fuel processing, chemicals production, multi-phase systems, biological and medical applications, and supporting catalyst development. Significant industrial activities are detailed in each application area, and future directions are discussed.
