The generalized Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn sum of the neutron at low Q**2 using a polarized He-3 target

A recently finished experiment to evaluate the generalized Gerasimov-Drell-Hearn sum on He-3 and the neutron in a Q^2 range between 0.03 GeV^2/c^2 and 1.2 GeV^2/c^2 will be discussed. The experiment was conducted in Hall A at Jefferson Lab using a polarized He-3 target in combination with a highly polarized electron beam.
