Title: Improved ecological safety of wastes after actinoid thermal-neutron irradiation

Abstract

The present paper examines and compares the transmutation of actinide series waste products by fast and thermal neutrons. The characteristics of each process are discussed, and it was concluded that transmutation by thermal neutron irradiation is preferable.
