This oral presentation reported that reacting ansa-chromocene carbonyl and t-butyl isocyanide complexes with B(C6F5)3 results in cyclopentadienyl ring borylation in the latter case and isocyanide ligand abstraction in the former. [Part of final report for DOE contract FG02-98ER45709.]
