Title: International Workshop on Oxide Surfaces

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:789943

The primary purpose of IWOX-2 is to provide a forum for presenting and discussing cutting-edge research on metal oxide surfaces. The world's authorities in this field will assemble for this 5-day meeting. This workshop will cover all important aspects of research on the oxide surfaces of bulk and thin film systems, including those relevant to environmental remediation, corrosion, adhesion, and as models for heterogeneous catalysts. This workshop will serve the very important function of discussion, analysis, and assessment of recent progress in both the theoretical understanding of oxide surfaces and the latest experimental techniques, which yield a rich and ever growing database.
