Deep sounding of the Earth by ground-based and satellite measurements of the magnetic field of the equatorial electrojet

A method is developed for the deep sounding of the earth by satellite and ground-based measurements of S/sub q/ variations in the vicinity of the equatorial electrojet. The Kosmos-321 data are used for sounding in the northern part of South America.
