As part of the activities of the Joint Continuing Committee for Scientific Cooperation, the main purpose of which is to provide recommendations on specific application of science and technology to Korea's economic and social development, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Korea and the National Academy of Sciences sponsored two workshops on the vitally important topics of energy conservation and solar space heating and cooling. The report presents a summary of the proceedings, and includes an agenda and a list of participants.
