Aging studies of LX-14. Period covered: October--December 1975
A long-term compatibility study (2 y) of LX-14 at ambient temperature and at 50, 60, and 80/sup 0/C has been initiated and has been partially completed. Analysis of aged LX-14 samples, performed by gel permeation chromatography showed that the Estane degraded. Previous data on the compositional analysis of LX-14 using 1,2-dichloroethane were found to be unreliable and a new method of analysis is being investigated.
