The formulas derived for the spiral trajectories of charged particles propagating along magnetic lines of force in an extended gravity field can also be used to explain the formation of radiation belts, auroras, phenomena in polar caps, and other phenomena. A motionless plasma can be trapped by the apex of some line of force only if the velocity of its internal particles exceeds approximately half of the escape velocity.
