A list of 14 manufacturers of small hydroelectric units includes the supplier's name, address, phone number, and person to contact. Remarks after eight of the manufacturers indicate the company's experience and range of equipment. The remainder did not respond to the request for information. One-year lead times were quoted because of the need to make each unit according to specific head and flow conditions. The hope is expressed that more manufacturers will develop as interest grows in retrofitting small-scale dams with hydro units. (DCK)
