Title: Wounded projectile nucleon model of the E sub veto distributions in ultrarelativistic nuclear collisions

The wounded projectile nucleon model is applied to the zero-degree energy distributions in ultrarelativistic nuclear collisions. The zero-degree energy distribution of the wounded projectile nucleon can be obtained from the transverse energy distribution, if a linear relation of anticorrelation between zero-degree energy and transverse energy is assumed. Agreement with the experimental data is satisfactory.
