This article reports on a study investigating the effectiveness of reformulated gasolines in meeting vehicle emission requirements. The article reviews future California emissions requirements, comparisons of test fuel characteristics, emissions reductions achieved during the tests, and an evaluation of the effectiveness of reduction of vehicle emissions.
