Title: Energy 2000 - 2020: World prospects and regional stresses

This book is a study of the long term development of regional energy balances. It presents a report on primary energy balances between the years 2000 and 2020 in each of the following regions of the world: North America; Western Europe; Pacific industrialised countries; Eastern Europe; North Africa-Middle East; South Saharan Africa; Southern Asia; South-East Asia; Centrally planned Asian countries; Latin America. For each region the following forecasts are given: population; GNP; energy consumption; energy supply; energy production; inter-regional energy trade.
