Thirteen levels below 3.8-MeV excitation in /sup 60/Fe have been identified using the /sup 58/Fe(t,p)/sup 60/Fe reaction. Analysis of the proton angular distributions has yielded spins and parities of most states observed below 3.1 MeV. The ground-state Q value is 6913 +- 4 keV, yielding a mass excess for /sup 60/Fe of - 61404 +- 5 keV. The level structure of /sup 60/Fe deduced from this experiment is compared with previous measurements and is discussed in terms of a vibrational model.
