Title: Upper critical field for a superconductor with energy-Dependent density of States: possible application to heavy-fermion Systems

Abstract

The Eilenberger equations are applied to calculate the upper critical field for a superconductor with an energy-dependent density of states. The influence of the electron-paramagnon scattering is also considered. These two effects may be important in the explanation of the temperature dependence of the upper critical field of a heavy-fermion superconductor.
